Upload error and no maintenance options
« on: July 11, 2006, 07:08:55 pm »

I am having problems batch uploading images and having read the posts on here went to the config page but there are no maintenance settings. I am running 1.4.8. Have some files not uploaded correctly and could this be the problem?

The initial error was that "Warning: the script can't write in this directory, you need to change its mode to 755 or 777 before trying to add the files !", but the folders are already set to 777.

Can anyone point me in the right direction

I have found the problem, in my cpanel everything was at 777, but in my FTP software one folder was at 755. Now everything uploads but still no maintenance settings.

Next is integration with vBulletin 3.5.4  :(

What I mean is that in the config page there is no option for maintenance settings as detailed in your manual / help files which is exactly what I said in my first post
