deleting albums does not delete records in actual database
« on: July 06, 2006, 02:52:27 am »

I needed to delete my albums and start over. Problem is they were still showing up in the album list view. The only way to make them go away was to go to PHPmyadmin and empty the tables. I did this for pictures, albums, and categories.

How were you deleting them? Were you using the "album properties", http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#modif_alb_pics or deleting them through your FTP client? Deleting through FTP will not remove the info in the database.

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.
