maximum intermediate picture size does not work
« on: July 06, 2006, 05:07:45 am »

I set the max size to 1000, then imported the images. They still came in over 1000 pixels. Is this a bug? Can't crop either? Are they related?

In "Config=>Files and thumbnails settings=>Auto resize images that are larger than max width or height", what is this set to? Check the manual here for more info: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#admin_picture_thumbnail.

Note, when changing this setting, only the files that are added from that point on are affected, so it is advisable that this setting must not be changed if there are already files in the gallery. You can, however, apply the changes to the existing files with the "admin tools (resize pictures)" utility from the admin menu.

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.
