The first thing that I can think of is to check your images folder. Under the directory that coppermine is installed there should be a folder called "Images", is the file called "thumb_avi.jpg" there?

src property of your <img> tag is empty!
if you look at the include/function.inc.php will see the $pic_url is responsible for that url
$pic_url will get its value from get_pic_url function (its also in function.inc.php line ~1894)
I'm working on that to figur out what happen....

just for sure can you just copy function.inc.php to your include folder again (may be it's cruppted)
use a real ftp client like "ipswitch ws_ftppro" or "smartftp"

forget all of them   ::)
I should check this first
did you change "The prefix for thumbnails " value under config=>Files and thumbnails advanced settings
i think you did it's mini_
i'm I true? then go to your {gallery root}/images folder and rename all thumb_xxx.jpg to mini_xxx.jpg

I think this should be report as a bug
here is desc.
by changing "The prefix for thumbnails" , get_pic_url function will look for newprefix_avi.jpg or other type of cpg default media thumbnails

sorry
this works fine for me
- may be you have permission issue on "images" folder
- may be you change "thumb_pfx" under config table manualy
- may be on upgrade proccess you delete your old image folder and copy new image folder instead of overwite it
