Themes looks incomplete - no button/header images/etc
« on: January 25, 2004, 11:56:06 pm »

Some of the GIFs and JPEGs used for buttons/stars/head image can't display on any of the themes I have tried to use.
All directories and files are CHMOD 755.

Is there any particular thing do I need to modify/amend elsewhere to show all buttons/etc?

Cheers!

Please post a user account for your site.
Also, post a screenshot showing the problem if you are able to.

Have you altered the files or file structure in any way?

Here's a screenshot:

As you can see, some GIF with arrows, buttons etc etc are missing, as well as the header jpeg.

I have not altered the file structure or any of the files. I have only changed the file logo.jpg with my own logo (the same you see in the signature).

Thanks for your quick reply

OK, Ive just had a look at your source code, and you seem to have over modified your template.html.

For a start, there is no </head> or <body> tags, just <head> at the top and </body> at the bottom in the giallo theme.

The themes are mucked up, but I can see the normal links/buttons.

edit, I posted this before seeing the above post.

OK,

it seems most of the coppermine images on your site have been corrupted.  This may have happened during the ftp upload.

What mode did you upload in?

I use GFtp to manage my web space (Mandrake Linux 9.2, KDE frontend). I will try tonight (when back at home) to edit the template.html file with correct tags and re-upload the Coppermine images.
Let's see what happens tonight!

Thanks!  :)

I have used Kbear to re-upload all themes and now all works! Thanks for your help, probably gFTP was a bit doggy....
