I must have accidentally done something to the codes of my index page.

I got this msg when I tried to refresh the index page: 

"Critical error:

"There was an error while processing a database query"

In debug mode, the msg is:


"While executing query "SELECT sum(hits) FROM cpg148_pictures as p LEFT JOIN cpg148_albums as a ON p.aid=a.aid WHERE 1" on 0

mySQL error: Got error 127 from table handler"

and there' s a linewhich says:

File: /home/photogr1/public_html/include/functions.inc.php - Line: 249


How do I correct  this error?

The other pages seems OK.

If you messed up index.php just reupload a non modified version. If you don't have one then download coppermine again

I assume you still talk about that site http://www.photograffs.com/index.php ... looks like a server missconfig

and error 127 from table handler means that a table is corrupt. You shoulod repair that table (eg. with a tool like phpmyadmin or in the commandline myisamchk )

I'm thinking of deletng all files and the database on remote server and redo the installation of the software.

what are the things I need to pay attention to if I do this to avoid problems?

I check further - the database show this mysql error:

#1016 - Can't open file: 'cpg148_pictures.MYI'. (errno: 145)

what does it mean? what can I do to rectify problem?
