How to delete files in the user gallery?
« on: June 22, 2006, 07:42:30 pm »

I'm trying to get all this figured out so that I can have my users upload to categories and albums that I have set up for them.  In the first trial of this one of my users uploaded photos to the user gallery.  I want to delete those files, but I can't seem to access that album as an admin.  It is not listed with the other albums I have set up in the Album manager.  How do I get to the user gallery so I can delete files?

If you go to the user's user gallery page, there should be a "DELETE" button and an "EDIT FILES" button for each of the user's albums.  You can also use a "DELETE" button on each image.

As far as I know, you cannot use the Album Manager for deleting other users albums.  However, when I was checking this just now, I noticed something strange on the album manager depending upon which user gallery you came from.  I need to look at this some more - it might be a bug.  I believe the intent is for only the admin's own user gallery to show up on the album manager, and none others.  I agree it might be convenient to have the others there as well.

I got it figured out, I think.  Thanks.
