hi guys i did a search but i couldnt come up with anything good
well when i sent an ecard, it comes good but it just does not show the picture in the email
how can i fix this
my site is

Since your gallery is framed, I'm guessing the gallery url in Config is incorrect. You need to enter the URL where coppermine is actually installed.

Also, your site crashes my browser when I hover over the gallery. It has to do with the frame code, maybe the top.frames script.

are the same

but should i set it to

in the config?

Hi, I am having the same problem but I have checked the ulr in config and it points right to the index.php file.  http://domainname.com/coppermindirectory/index.php  This is in the 4th line from the top in the config.

I also dont see a place to enter the user name and password like TranzNDance mentioned in another post.

The other problem which I suspect has the same answer is that the email varification that is sent is missing a forward slash in the url that should go between the index.php/and the rest of the ulr.

Any help on both these troubles is greatly appriciated

So what you are saying is that you set 'URL of your coppermine gallery folder (no 'index.php' or similar at the end)' to an address ending in index.php ?

Yes, and that is working fine. The problem is when the ecard is sent, there isn't a picture with it, only the text. The happy faces won't send either just the little red X shows up...

The ecard worked a few times right after install, but haven't since then.

Also the email registration varification email link doesn't work. I have noticed that a forward slash is missing in the url in the welcome email. Any idea on how to fix that up?

I am way more interested in the ecards though. Can you walk me throught the ecard fix from the beginning please?

Take the index.php off the end of the link...

Ok now we are getting somewhere You are very smart

So, now I am able to see the picture and the little happy faces and again I say you are smart

But now that I have taken the index.php of the end of the url, when I click on the "Click this link to view more pictures" I am taken right into the open files of the root of my Coppermine install. I am sure you can tell me what to do now as I have said it b4 and I will again, you are smart

That means your server isn't properly configured. It should recognize the index.php file and show its contents instead of the folder's contents. You need to ask your webhost, unless you can edit .htaccess to make it treat index.php properly.

I am able to edit the .htaccess file but what change do I need to make in there?

Also, do you know how to remove the email address that is on the ecard?

Like I said, You are smart. Thx, it worked. The last question I have is how to get ride of that email address that goes out on the ecard. How do I do that? What is the point of that anyways??
