Mods/AddOns ... organized as modules instead of hacks
« on: June 27, 2006, 12:04:55 am »

There are many great mods for Coppermine out there, but I do concern about the next CPG update when I include a mod/an own modification. So I have to decide if I want to include the new feature for the price of doing more work during the next CPG upgrade or if I leave CPG as it is.

Organizing the hacks as modules instead of changing the core files themselves could be a solution. In all likelihood, you had already that idea before but it is too hard to implement?
