BLANK PAGE on first image of album: WHY?
« on: June 04, 2006, 06:08:44 am »

I made a new album that you can see here:
http://www.socmail.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=49

For some strange reason if you click on the FIRST image of the album (http://www.socmail.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=49&pos=0) you get a BLANK page... If you click on the second image it works fine...
This has happened to me before and I have NO CLUE what the reason is. Can somebody please help me figure this weird thing out?
Thanks

Is that a private album? I got no images when I tried to view the album, and I can't see the album when I went up to the category via the breadcrumb. If it requires a login, post a test nonadmin one here.

I am sorry, that is my fault. I made it public now...

First of all, you should upgrade from your version (cpg1.4.4, outdated) to the most recent stable release (currently cpg1.4.6). Not sure if this will cure your issues, but it doesn't make sense to try to fix issues that may be related to using outdated versions that might be fixed in most recent releases.

I just upgraded as suggested and still experience the same problem.

Go to Config and enable debug mode for admin. Then go to the page that has the problem and see what the error message is.

Debug mode doesn't help because I am getting a blank page... Nothing in it, not even the theme of coppermine or any error messages... when I say blank, I mean blank, as in NO html code either (if I try to view the source of that page).

Thank you VERY MUCH for coming to my help Nibbler! I appreciate how helpful you are! This worked!

Out of curiosity, am I missing out on any cool or important features by disabling that?

Thanks

You'll be missing out on having the EXIF data displayed below the pics.
