No I dont think so, apart from spidering which is probably not allowed, so in a matter of fact I never said that.

GauGau put together a plugin package of all contributed plugins.  He might do the same for the contributed themes, but I would think the theme contributions are more frequent and so might be less amenable to keeping a theme package up-to-date, hence it might be eschewed for practicality's sake.

I downloaded all the themes a few weeks ago using CTRL-click in a tabbed browser (Firefox) and it only took a few minutes to download them all.  Sourceforge makes it a little more indirect to download files, but its advantage is that it provides a free way for open-source communities to distribute files using its many servers, so in the end, it's better, although a bit inconvenient.
