Logging feature extensions
« on: June 01, 2006, 08:41:22 pm »

Logging function shuold be extended to include events such as:

- successful logins
- picture views
- modification of groups/albums (this may be already in place)

Also, having a GUI to access the log files would be great, some reporting features would be even better although this would be a challenge as the log files are saved as text. Log rotation could be another interesting feature.

My CPG does not log time/date correctly now but this could be a misconfig/known bug/issue with my set-up.

Picture views are already logged elsewhere and login data is already available too. Adding logging of group/album changes makes sense though. The logging features haven't been developed much so far due to little feedback/interest from users.

login data is not available - only login failures are recorded. No records of successful logins or password changes, etc.
