Slash - backslash
« on: May 25, 2006, 04:05:41 pm »

Hi!

I have installed coppermine on IIS (windows) server.

When I press the button "Batch add files" I got the following sentence:

"There are no folders inside the "albums" folder yet. Make sure... " even though I have added some folders on "albums" folder (with and without pictures). Have I made something wrong?
The most peculiar is that it is written (in light gray colour):
"/F:\......folders....\Viewer\albums/" in "please select a directory" field (note that Coppermine 1.4.6 is installed in ....\viewer directory). Slashes and back slashes?!?

Does anybody know how to solve the problem?

There are problems with the browsable batch add interface on Windows servers.  If you disable the browsable interface you should be ok.

Don't worry about the different slashes.

Ah, thanks for this. Just had the same issue (w2k3 srv sp1, cpg 146, php 514, mysql 512); when the Browsable thing is activated, there's a grayed-out folder showing both the local web site installation path on the server, and the "albums/" dir added, like:
Code: [Select]
/D:\websites\album.mysite.net\albums/
