Link in Album Description

Hi,
 I was wondering if there was any way to put a link in the album description. Because I was trying to credit people and include a link to their website but the standard...

<a href="" target="_blank"></a>

tag doesn't work? I don't know if it's even possible to do but I was just wondering..thank you..:)
