[Solved]: Some visitors can't see galleries
« on: July 12, 2004, 02:22:47 am »

I'm running Coppermine on WallpaperJunkie, and some of my visitors email saying they cannot see the galleries, or get errors, when most visitors (including myself) can see everything just fine, & get no errors. What might cause this?
The most recent email said the visitor got an error telling them "they were not authorized to open the page", even after they had registered, and some galleries worked & some didn't. Is it something on their end?

Thanks for any suggestions or help.
Jenn

I can browse your page just fine, and I can't see any reason why others shouldn't be able to browse your page. Can you get more details from the users reporting errors, like browser, OS and what page they tried to access exactly?

Hello,
I have the same problem, unfortunately with a client's site.  I can link just fine to the gallery with IE, but he can't, and he is receiving reports from visitors that they get the same error.  I tested it with Netscape 7 and did encounter the error.  Any help with this is appreciated, here it is:

Try replacing the end comment on
Code: [Select]
<!-- BEGIN my_gallery ie.
Code: [Select]
<!-- BEGIN my_gallery -->

I've tested it in ie, netscape, & firefox...I haven't had any troubles either. I emailed the most recent guy who said he had problems, but never heard anything back....so I'm just not going to worry about it much lol

thanks though for the assistance.
