Proxy image for a video until user clicks on it?
« on: May 12, 2006, 12:26:13 am »

I use .m4v video files on my site in coppermine and was hoping there is a way to have a .jpg image proxy for the video until a user clicks on the proxy.  This way I can place information like:  "click here to play or to download click below"  This will make the site flow a little smoother since the video will not start downloading right away.

I believe on the themes board there is a thread discussing how to put a "download video" link below or instead of the embedded media player.  Please search for it and see if that gives you a method to do what you want.
