Edit: found the answer here: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24840.msg114501#msg114501
I wonder why this fix did not go into 1.4.5...

When I have the checkbox "DateTime Original" checked I get two fields on exif data with exactly the same date:

Date Time:   2005:08:17 07:43:45
DateTime Original:   2005:08:17 07:43:45

When I have the checkbox "DateTime digitized" checked I get again two fields on exif data with exactly the same date:

Date Time:   2005:08:17 07:43:45
DateTime digitized:   2005:08:17 07:43:45

When I have none checked I get no date info altogether! Is there a way to display only  the "Date Time" field?

Because we're only human and do already spend a lot of free time on coppermine. Threads on the bugs board that haven't been flagged as "fixed" or "invalid" simply haven't gone into the core. Just applying suggested fixes is not enough, you have to test them thoroughly. We'd welcome your help. Reply to the thread you refered to, saying that the suggested fix worked for you. Post details how you tested (i.e. for what camera brands etc.)
