Batch Add doesn't work for a few folders ...
« on: May 09, 2006, 04:10:27 am »

My batch add works fine for all the folders I uploaded to my FTP server except for 2-3 folders.  The folder permission is set to 755 (the same as all the folders), and all the image sizes are under the limit.  I had no problem uploading everything else via batch add, and I've tried deleting and reuploading the folders several times.

URL:  http://unspokenfor.net/gallery
user:  user
password:  password

The folders that don't work are "FFVII - AC - 11 ..." & "FFVII - AC - 26 ..."  Sometimes, the folders themselves don't initially list under the main directory, and I have to refresh the page.  Then, I can click on the actual links, but the folder says it's empty when all the images are on my FTP server.

Any help please ... thanks!

Don't put spaces or special characters in filenames or directory names.  That may solve your problem.

although coppermine can compensate some glitches, it's best to stay clear and only use web-safe file- and folder names: alphanumerals, no specials chars except (-) and (_).

Oh, thank you!  That worked!  I didn't realize you couldn't have strange characters in folder names ... (:  thanks!!
