Preventing Images from Being Downloaded and Saved
« on: May 09, 2006, 09:19:57 am »

I am using Coppermine 1.3.2.  I have 100's of images in about 10 albums.  I want anyone to be able to view the pictures in the albums individually, but I don't want them to be able to right-click on the picture and do a Save As.

How can I do this?

no right-click scripts are silly and not recommended (find out why by reviewing the threads where this has been discussed before). Don't upload pics on the internet if you're afraid that people might steal them. You might want to watermark them instead (again: search the board).
It's mandatory (though not related to image theft) that you upgrade your coppermine install (at least to cpg1.3.5, better still to the most recent stable version cpg1.4.5)
