can't stay logged in

i recently switched hosts, and moved my 1.4.2 coppermine gallery along with it. i copied over the sql and everything.. it works.

i try to login, and it says "welcome derangedtaco", i hit "continue", and then i am logged out. i have tried this with 3 browsers. help!
is this a path problem? i actually have no idea. somebody help.

post a link for a start. Upgrade to the most recent stable coppermine release (currently cpg1.4.5)

there is no cookie set at all. Do as I suggested and upgrade first.
