making all thumbs same size
« on: April 25, 2006, 10:34:18 pm »

i am having problems trying to get all my thumbnails to be the same exact size. I use arles and make my own thumbnails to all be 75x80, but when i upload my thumbs to override the ones coppermine made .. then they get all distorted and dont change in size. anyone got a fix for this? I have seen it done at www.beyoncephotos.net  thanks yall!

this doesn't work... and would mean modifying a lot of files. Coppermine saves width/ height of the original, when it calls a thumb it calculates the thumbs dimension from the origs width/ height. So even if you upload your custom (Arles) thumb that'll lead to this distortion.

What you can do:
-use my modpack
-find my better thumbs thread and port that mod from 1.3 to 1.4.5

it will create thumbs with a fixed size, there's also a possibility to sharpen thumbs
