Filenames under thumbnails

Its not that I didnt search, I did - but what i found was: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=13655.0 and theres a dead link on how to do it :(

Could someone please tell me how to do it, or atleast some hints on which files to edit.

sorry but that answered my question only a bit, maybe because im a beginner with this stuff.

So would I do something like

'{FILENAME}' => $thumb['display_filename']
in my themes.php?

So im guessing that defined a function, but from where would I call on it? In which file is the template for the thumbnail view..?
