Red X's
« on: April 19, 2006, 06:27:47 pm »

We have a client that has the gallery installed and seems to be having some problems. When you go in to upload an image it appears as though everything is going ok but on the next screen where you assign the image to an album you just get a red X, if you try and place it it comes up and says 1 file could not be placed and thats it. I've double checked the permissions with no luck. Also There seems to be a problem with the existing albums because now none of the images will show. It can be seen here:

Any help would be appreciated.

Noot a coppermine issue imo, but a matter of server setup.

Well it worked fine before we did the upgrade. It also appears that they are having problems using tha batch add. We have them uploading their images via ftp to a particular folder and than when you try to add the images it tells you there are no custom directories.

any ideas what the server settings that could be causing this?

maybe there are no custom directories? ::)
Do as Nibbler suggested. Fix the issues I mentioned first. As I said: they're not related to coppermine, but to webserver setup.
We can't help you if you don't do as suggested.
