Can't upload photo's

The convert program said:
convert: UnableToOpenConfigureFile `delegates.xml'.
convert: NoDecodeDelegateForThisImageFormat `albums/diving river wharfe mayday 06/Copy_of_DSCN1303.JPG'.
convert: MissingAnImageFilename `albums/diving river wharfe mayday 06/thumb_Copy_of_DSCN1303.JPG'.

ImageMagick can't find it's configuration file. Probably looks in the wrong path(es). Tell your host to fix that or switch to GD2 (if it's installed)

do you know what the correct path should be?
in my
config/Files and thumbnails advanced settings/Path to ImageMagick 'convert' utility (example /usr/bin/X11/)
all I have is
/usr/bin/
Does this sound correct

That path is correct. If it wasn't then you would not be getting an error message back from convert. You need to contact your host.
