  I have a CPGallery, and when a i choose other language without being english, like portuguese or others, the names appears with some quaint charathers. for example: in portuguese, LAST COMMETNS stays  Últimos comentários, and should be ÚLTIMOS COMENTÁRIOS. can some one hlp me with this problem?

you're not using pnCPG but coppermine as a standalone app as far as I can see, so I'm moving your thread accordingly. Use unicode (utf-8) encoding.
Please don't shout at us.

- it seems that you using 1.4.2 ,first upgrade your gallery to 1.4.4 (stable) version.
- you should go to config /  Language & Charset settings / Character encoding  and change it's value to "Unicode"

I put the Character Encoding like UNICODE, but the problem contiues.  PLEASE HELP ME! I don't know want to do...

I think that you manualy  write "charset" value  to your template.html !!!
You should edit {gallery main folder}/themes/personal/template.html
and change the

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> to

Code: [Select]

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />or

Code: [Select]

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset={CHARSET}" /> 2nd code is better
