I have three user groups setup.  Registered, Admin, and Guests.  The registered users are set to allow uploads pending admin approval.

When they try to upload a photo, the photo shows up in my admin section under "upload approval"

But heres the real kicker...the photo is already in the gallery.  How could this be.

go under the "user gallery" and upload a photo.  It clearly states this photo will be available after admin approval, but it is visible instantly?!?!?!?!


Any help would be appreciated.

Provide a test account please.  FYI - as the admin you'll see the images.  Are you sure that non-admin users can see the images before they are approved?  I visited your gallery; I see two user galleries with zero images.  I assume you uploaded images but haven't approved them.  From what I see, Coppermine is working perfectly.

yes any registered user can see these photos before they are approved and while they are in the upload approval section of the admin.

Works for me.  I uploaded a test image into the cool plumbing album - I don't see it.  Like I said, if you do this as the admin, you'll always see the images.  Regular users don't see them.

Hmmm, very odd.  The count on the index is correct, and the image doesn't show up under last uploads, but it does appear in the album itself.  Have you modified Coppermine in any way, added any mods/hacks?

You are running 1.4.2, this may be something that can be fixed with an upgrade to 1.4.4.  Before upgrading, wait for a few other devs to take a look - they may have seen this before.

no i havent addd anything to this.  Its a standard install.  with just some logos changed and thats it.

any help or advice would be appreciated.
