Easy way to do batch uploads: Nested Directories
« on: April 02, 2006, 09:45:21 pm »

Dear Sir,

First of all. This is a great application. Thank you for that.

It will be great to have some way to upload my folder structure to the server. Coppermine must then be able to create the "Categories" and "Albums" by itself.

The "Batch Add File" function provided for Administrators is a lot of work it seems.

For clarity purposes. At the moment I simply host photos as linked HTML pages. See here:

I have built my test site in Coppermine by uploading using FTP. Then using the "Batch Add File" function. I thought there must be an easier way to this. See it here:

For the Gallery Album application I found a Perl Script that would do exactly this. Anything like that available for Coppermine?

I will be much obliged to your advice.

Regards

Peter
