A few questions about modifying coppermine
« on: March 23, 2006, 05:57:28 pm »

hi there fellow webprogramming pimps! :)
I'm new over here. You guys can call me Max. I'm was looking for a photogally and I bounced on this one. It's cool, but I do have some questions about modifying it. I hope you guys can help me out!

I whould like this:
To be removed. How do I do that?
Where can I find the html side of the main gallery? I whould like to make some small changes in the layout. (YES, apart from changing the css file!)

I whould like to use the phpBB(!) acounts with this photogallery system. Is that very hard to accomplice?

If I upload a bunch of photos like /albums/generation1/
It placed the photos and the thumbnails together in one directoy. I dislike that. I whould like the thumbs to be in  a map inside that map.
Like so:
/albums/generation1/thumbs/
How do I do that?

Another question: Why is my photoboard in dutch? I selected English and it still uses the dutch language, based on my location seeing that people from england find the gallery in dutch! ???

I also whould like to remove the diashow feature. I hate it ::)

Is it okay if I place the coppermine copyright on my credits page instead of in the footer? I'm affraid I know the aswer on this one, but I'll give it a try.

That's it for so far! It whould be awesome if you guys could help me out!

one issue per thread please. Your screenshot shows that you're using cpg1.4.x, so you posted on the wrong board. Moving accordingly.

All your questions are already answered in the docs and on the forum. There is a whole section in the docs for forum bridging.

Paradron sent me a PM:
Dear  GauGau

Dit you gave me a Karma: -1? Well then I give this support forum a Karma: -6 because of the supid way you guys threat new members. I feel very welcome over here, NOT!

Max
Small correction: you currently have a karma record of "-2": one for not posting on the proper board and not respecting the "one issue per thread" policy, one for PMing supporters although you mustn't. Respect board rules or get banned. If you donÄt like the support board policies, then seek support somewhere else.
