I host this photoalbum: http://elasadodelosviernes.com.ar/ there are 4 public categories and one private called Usuarios registrados, I configured this category to be only visible to registered users.

My question:

can I also hide the category title from the guests?

I dont want the guests to be aware of the existence of that category / private album

permissions can't be assigned by category, but only per album, that's why a category that contains private albums stays visible for everyone. There are no built-in methods to hide the cat, so you'll have to review coppermine's code and add a switch to it manually.

I don't have the technical skills to do it, but maybe I can use this post to suggest the option for future releases
