Talked into the upgrade but need some help please
« on: March 07, 2006, 03:56:30 am »

In 1.3.5 the support staff help me adjust my site so that pictures could not be deleted by anyone but an admin.

http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=22459.msg103033#msg103033

Will I be able to edit the same files to protect the images or is this an item that is configurable in 1.4.4

Thanks.

in cpg1.4.x there's an admin option named Allow users to retain control over their pics in public galleries that does exactly what it says, so you have the same option as in cpg1.3.x available: if you want, only you as admin will be able to edit pics once they exist in coppermine's database. However, if you want to, you can allow your users to control the pics they uploaded.
