Hi,
I am from Germany, please excuse my english.

I have Coppermine 1.4.3. installed on my Webspace. Everything works fine except the function to permit some groups to view albums normal users can't see.

So I have a category called "Private". All included albums should only be seen by the group "Private". But when I click on properties for the album, there is no dropdown menu called "Album can be viewed by" like it is on zhis picture http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#album_prop.

I can set a password, but I just want to restrict the acces. Why is the dropdown menu missing and how can i solve the problem?

Read what it says.

If you have set "Users can can have private albums" to YES on the config page, you can determin who will have permission to view the files of this album.
