no emails whatsoever

Hello Everyone!

Um okay well I had a problem relating to this when I had the older cpg version. Now I have cpg1.4. I didn't upgrade. I just deleted the last one and installed this one. My problem is that I was testing the registration process and I get no admin or user emails. I enabled notify admin for user registration and the message said "an email has been sent to the admin to approve..." (something like that) I on my admin email addy didn't recieve anything. When I didn't enable notify admin for user registration option, I assumed that my user email addy would get a confirmation email, but it didn't. Thanks in advance!

Try using SMTP.

instead of what you did what to accomplish what? Is your issue solved then?

no my issue is not solve. it was giving me a headache figuring out SMTP so i just went for an alternative solution
