There's a thread about that on the german sub board

as said... there's nothing about minithumbs there... just pick an image (fullsize name) in the dropdown
Stramm,

I misunderstood your previous post...my apologies.

But, I also failed to mention that even after updating everything and enabling minithumbs in Config, shouldn't the minithumbs appear on the front page next to the category description? As it is, they do not. Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of enabling minithumbs for categories as well?

yep, that's the way how it should work.

You enable minithumbs and you set  'Use mini thumb as category lead image' to yes
Now you pick an image in the dropdown in the category control panel

If that doesn't work I suspect you haven't uploaded all files of the modpack

I can't imagine what would be missing since I uploaded everything as instructed.

@macsimoin... looks like that was your problem. Would be nice if you could report back next time ;)

Stramm,

Regardless of you assumption being correct: There was absolutly no need for this remark...was there?  Shouldn't patience apply to you just as it's supposed to apply to the rest of us CPG users? If you look at the rest of my posts, you can see I readily admit fault if I make a mistake or misinterpret things...you'll also notice that I do reply to posts by people answering questions I may have.

No matter your intention behind this, I'll say it anyway...thank you helping me fix the problem. :D

Consider this problem solved.

You bumped your other thread after my last answer here without reporting back. So I assumed you took this issue as solved.

Nevertheless I'm glad all worked out for you

That comment seemed a bit 'off' to me but thanks for the clarity, no hard feelings...you do very well by me. You, GauGau and others like you are the reason why CPG is appreciated by its users. Can't ask for much better, can we?

I've uploaded the modpack with all changes included in CPG 1.4.7...
upgrading is mandatory

howto upgrade:
follow the instructions for the standard CPG upgrade (1.4.x to 1.4.x usually only uploading the new files)
now upload the modpack 1.4.7 files. Eventually yoh have to run update.php

Finished

Stramm,

I already applied the hotfix from GauGau (not the full v1.4.7 upgrade---my CPG site/theme is heavily modified)...do I still need this new modpack upgrade? I can't unzip the download anyway...Winzip can't open it.

hmm.. strange, opens for me... clear your cache and try to download again. The modpack has a modified usermgr.php. If you hesitate to upgrade use the usermgr.php from the modpack 1.4.7 zip

I used the Hotfix link GauGau supplied in his post about this upgrade...do I need the one in your new modpack?

Even my usermgr.php is heavily modified so I made the appropriate changes (being very careful, going line-by-line) in the new version, uploaded it and then ran update.php and versioncheck.php. Everything looks good from here.

If you've added the changes all should be good

Cheers.

Well, that ought to do it...I submitted my CPG to the Contrib area so everything looks good to go. Thank you for all your help. :)

For PM and buddylist no lang fallback options are available.
Same for admin and the welcome/ login box on top

The english UK / US ... better ask that on the CPG support forum, but I'd say simply cause there are differences

Hi Stramm,
I think in your update miss some field.
When i check your code and database ... miss some field for mod such as:
$CONFIG['randpos_interval']
$CONFIG['enable_avatar']
...
So there mods not working correct.
