Selectively disable comments?

I would like to disable commenting for everyone for a few albums / categories I have. Essentially, I have public and private albums, and I would like to prevent all commenting on the public albums, even by Registered users, without disabling comments for the private albums. Is this possible?

You can disable comments in album properties.
