cpg1.5.48 Security release - upgrade mandatory!
The Coppermine development team is releasing a security update for Coppermine in order to counter a recently discovered vulnerability. It is important that all users who run version cpg1.5.46 or older update to this latest version as soon as possible.

Should you delete install.php

I have successfully incorporated another cms database driven script in with Coppermine. This other cms mandates that once installation is successful that the user immediately delete their install.php file. Does this need to be done with Coppermine?


I tried to delete this post, but realized I couldn't, so to help others who might have similar questions about the security factor when leaving install.php on your server, go here:
