STAND-ALONE CPG 1.4.3: Category columns hack needed to be implemented.

I recently upgraded from 1.3.4 to 1.4.3
Old theme was igames, now I'm using eyeball.
While the category columns hack was working fine with the old version (I did implement it),
I'm not able to implement it into the new version.
A have a big member-section with currently 101 models and 24.500 photos running.
I need categories divided by three columns
