Information on what Bridging/inetgration allows?
« on: February 16, 2006, 09:37:46 pm »

I am looking for a description of what bridging with phpBB will "do" for me. One thing people have told me is that it makes it so folks only have to sig in once.

1. Will bridging make it easier to post pics in the messages? I have checked all over (in the coppermine settings) for ways to "produce" a very easy link-copy system so folks can effortless put images in their posts. Right now it is hit and miss. Perhaps I am just missing this...

2. What other advantages to bridging are there?

I have the most current versions of both Coppermine and phpBB.

Single registration and login is the primary feature. If you pop over to the demo you'll see that you are already recognised and logged in there. It is unrelated to posting links to pics, there is a bbcode mod posted if you search the board. Note that bridging does not affect your forum in any way.

You are doing what it was designed to do, there should be no problem.
