I guess I need to rephrase my question. I know everything is possible, if you know how to code it... :)

I find this post interesting way to manage the ads with tokens. My short term goal is to be able to display different style of google ads in different places on the site. Right now, the code is in the template.html but I would also like to have ads in between for example lastup, lastcom, alblist on the index page, and some in between the image and the filmstrip in the displayimage.php... How can I achieve that?

I will start by implementing the code from the post above after which I will need some coding guide on how to place the ads in the other places I mentioned... I appreciate your help.

Do you think something could be done on a larger scale as a plugin? I will post a request in the right place. its no rush.

As I already figured out that this thread (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=27970.0) works for 1.4.x, can I simply add a {AD} somewhere into displayimage.php or in the theme.php? i.e. since I already have the function specified in theme.php, can it be called in multiple places around the site? thanks.
