I NEED MAJOR HELP!

Everytime I I login, it let's me through, but I can NOT access the administrators page.  I know my password and everything, it lets me login, but I can NEVER access the admin page.  I'm not a guest of the gallery or anything, I'm the owner of the website, I have correct permissions to the gallery, but it NEVER lets me into the admin page.  It only lets me into the admin page when it feels like it, but I have to login over 50+ times before, and sometimes I still can't get into it.  SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

As a first step, login and see if there is a button or link labeled "Admin mode" in the menu. If there is, click on it.

If you had logged in as admin at some point, and you changed to User mode, and then logged out, when you login again, you will still be in User mode, and you won't see the admin menu until you switch modes.

If this isn't the answer, post again, and we'll look deeper.

Did you use Fantastico version? I have the same issue at the moment and was told the Fantastico install is buggy. read: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=27738.0

also make sure that the log in actually sticks - don't get fooled by the message "welcome 'yourname'" after submitting the login form. Take a look at the next screen (after clicking continue): there mustn't be a login link in the menu, but instead there should be a link "logout [yourname]". If it isn't there, then the login doesn't stick. If this is the case for you, post a link to your page for a start.

P.S. Who is this "Major Help" you're refering to in your thread subject? Is he with "General Discussion"? Has he fought in the Gulf wars? ;D Sorry, couldn't resist ;). Please use better subject in the future that describe your issue a bit closer, e.g. "no config page" or similar

Do you have trouble staying logged in with that account? I was able to stay logged in using that account in FF and IE.

If the answer to Thu's question is yes, then:
- delete all your cookies
- temporarily disable all pseudo-security apps (like "Norton internet security" or similar)
- check your browser's privacy settings, making sure your cookies are accepted
