Creating a pull down list on custom fields
« on: February 08, 2006, 06:40:26 pm »

Hi

I would like to create a pull down menu for a custom field in the search function and in the upload function. So visitors don't need to guess the values themselves for a custom field but are forced to choose one of the options.

The thing is I need pictures to be able to be browsed on image-size (pixels X pixels) and on subject. Now the subject is determined by the category (and refined by keywords), but I have 15 standard sizes of pictures for which I dont want to make 15 albums on each category.
Does someone have a suggestion on this, I was thinking to create pull down menu's for it.

As far as I can see pulldown menus on custom fields havent yet been implemented?

Now I can code PHP a little bit, if someone could pinpoint me on some tips on which files to begin and how to begin, it would be very welcome.

I think I have seen some example/link in other topics... but now I can't find them. ???

If I'll find something I'll link here. ;)
