[Done]: use email when loging in
« on: February 02, 2006, 08:48:23 pm »

Does anyone know how we can use the email address of a person to login as opposed to a username. I think most people like it that way, since they dont have to remember the username they used to register. However, once inside, the user is always identified by their username(as it is now). Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't know such a hack, but it's a good idea, so I'm moving this from the support board so it doesn't get forgotten

most definetly agree on this one! Change usernamn to "display name" and use the e-mail address instead. Many photo-gallery visitors aren't very IT mature...
