Setting up album
« on: December 30, 2003, 01:43:10 pm »

I have, or am trying to, installed Photoalbum but having a problem.   Everthing is uploded and installed, but when I go to "log in" it takes me to my forum to log in. Obviously I have made a mistake in the set-up but can someone advise me as to what please.  The forum I am running is a Fully modded 206  so the instead of being  "phpbb2" or similar, it is FM206

I have tried everything I can think of, and as nobody else seems to know I will just give up the whole idea.

Try disabling the phpBB integration by editing include/init.inc.php. At the beginning of the file you will find the following lines:
Code: [Select]
// User database integration
// Uncomment the applicable line if you want to use it
define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'phpbb');
// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'invisionboard');
// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'vbulletin');
// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'yabbse');
Comment the line that corresponds to the bulletin board you use (for you, this is phpBB).
Code: [Select]
// define('UDB_INTEGRATION', 'phpbb');

Iv'e done all that. When I go to the index page and try to log in, it goes to my forum as it should and I log in when there but then there is no way to control or get back to the gallery to set it up.

I think you didn't read my post completely. You probably set up the phpBB integration before posting here.
My post explains how to disable the phpBB integration, even though it looks like the text in the readme file ;)
If you disable the integration, you'll be able to log in to your Coppermine Photo Gallery again (at least you should).

You are indeed correct that I hadn't understood and read properly. Have now done and it works so far. Thank you.  I like that Bush story.
