http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24032.0

Sorry sir,

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and IPB 2.XX:
[Can't login with the coppermine admin account after the integration, with the administrator account of IPB i just have user rights. ]

Coppermine install: http://www.pakistaniforces.com/gallery
Forum install: http://www.pakistaniforces.com/board
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: IPB 2.XX
Test user account: XXX (unavailable) have admin though can't login with it.

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL: http://www.pakistaniforces.com/board
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../gallery/
Use post-based groups?:  0  (dont know)

I dont have a test account only an admin account, and that too i can't login with after the integration. Can you help sir?

See if this helps. For future reference, test accounts are created in your forum, not Coppermine.

My bridging has failed. I enabled it from Admin section, done everything correctly. Then it took me to the

http://pakistaniforces.com/gallery/bridgemgr.php

Where i couldn't login with my BBS account, so i had to use the one for which i used for coppermine during the installation. When i logged in, it disabled the bridging.

Please help how can i do this? I can provide Cpanel details and gallery admin details upon request.

Thank you.

That's normal, don't disable the bridge if you want to keep it.

I didn't disable the bridge, it done itself automatically. Could you help me bro? I can send you a PM with admin details of gallery.

Gallery: http://pakistaniforces.com/gallery/

Forum: http://www.pakistaniforcesforum.com/

The domain http://www.pakistaniforcesforum.com/ is only pointing to the directory http://www.pakistaniforces.com/board so dont get confused.

Both have administrator rights. Could you please check on why is the bridging keep failing? You can talk to me online for any questions or reply back.

my msn: webmaster@pakistaniforces.com

I can't send you a PM.. could you accept my PM?

If you need additional information please respond.

Thanks.  :-[

Just do what you did before but don't enter your cpg admin details. Stop at that point.

But it fails. After i enable the intergration it takes me to the bridgemr.php if i dont do that then i can't login with even my board account, nor with the account of coppermine during installation, because i have to login from the login of the forum first.  >:(

Its so weird. Could you please accept my PM and look at yourself. It wont take long, its frustrating me.  :-[

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Ok let me tell you step by step.

I login with my CPG account, go to admin tools then bridging then enable or disable bridging when i enable it, the other button comes if to start the wizard or not. I do that and then it takes me to the bridgemgr.php it tells me that the bridging was failed and you can login with your coppermine account to disable the bridging.

I dont do that, first i go and try to login in the gallery from the gallery home page it takes me to the forum login menu where i login then i go to gallery but i am never logged in gallery cause obviously the bridging wasn't successful. So please tell me what to do.

Thank you.

If you get redirected then the bridge was activated. To troubleshoot login issues requires a test user accounts, please post one. It's probably an issue with your domain names, pick one and stick with it or cookies won't work.

The test account does not work and you have done nothing to solve the domain issue.

Don't post admin details.

pakistaniforces.com and pakistaniforcesforum.com are 2 different domains. You can't bridge across domains.

It doesn't matter what we or the server sees. The browser sees them as two different sites. For security reasons, it won't let a site read another domain's cookies.
