What is 'user_actkey'?
« on: January 31, 2006, 04:01:32 pm »

Hello, I'm web developer from Riga (Latvia) and I try to adapt Coppermine photo gallery for my need. And I have a questions: "What for we need 'user_actkey' in the users table?" and "Can I register a new user whithout 'user_actkey'?". Can someone help me?

It is used if users are required to activate their account via email. If you don't require activation then it does nothing.
