Plugin for thumbnails
« on: January 28, 2006, 12:58:03 pm »

Hi,

I search a plugin to have thumbnails for the files which it's impossible (swf, video,...) ; a very simple thing :
 - when cpg can make an automatic thumbnails (jpg, gif...) nothing change.
 - when cpg can't make a thumbnails (swf, video,...) a new field appear with the possibility to browse (in computer) for send a pic (jpg) who will be automatically take the good name thumb_file... and automatically resized for take the size of a "classic" thumbnail.

Is it possible ?

Thanks

Pierre

The image libraries coppermine can use (ImageMagick or GD) don't have the capability to create thumbnails from SWFs and similar file types, that's why coppermine can't create thumbnails from it. An http upload form for custom thumbails is technically possible, but such a mod hasn't been created yet. Is being scheduled though for future versions of coppermine.

I know... it's for this reason I search a plugin...

I hope a plugin will be created for this...
