Change continue link after register?
« on: January 28, 2006, 07:02:36 am »

After a user registers they get a message "Your account is now active and you can login" with a continue button. The continue button currently links to index.php how can I change it so it links to login.php?
I appreciate any help on this. Everything I have tried hasn't worked. Thanks

What have you tried?  There are a number of places in register.php where continue message boxes are sent with a link to 'index.php'.  For example, this is the one with the message you mentioned ("your account is now active ..."):
Code: [Select]
msg_box($lang_register_php['information'], $lang_register_php['acct_active'], $lang_continue, 'index.php');
You should be able to change 'index.php' to 'login.php' on this line.  The other message boxes are for various possibilities of the config settings for admin activation and valid email.  For whatever page you want the continue to link to the login page, look for the message on the page, find it in lang/english.php, then find the key value (like 'acct_active' above) in register.php and change the line as desired.

That worked. I don't know how I missed that. Thanks for your help.
