Users unable to activate?

Hi... I searched the forum to find a solution for my problem, but it seems that no one encountered it before... Here it is:

My friend and I have installed Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.2 (stable) on our website, and everything was going fine - users were registering and activating. But starting yesterday the newest members were not able to activate their accounts, which was evident with nearly two pages of continuous "inactive" users in the user list. I registered a tester account, and did not recieve an email notification in the 5 hours that the tester account existed...

Any idea what could be wrong and how we could fix it?

To rule out email issues, can you try sending yourself an ecard?

I just set myself a ecard twice - each time to a different email, and it did not arrive yet as I'm writing this message, and already 15 minutes passed since I sent them...   :-\  So I guess this means there are some email issues... But why did they arise all of a sudden? Everything was working fine before yesteday...

Sometimes webhosts change settings or break things without notice. You can send them a note and ask what's up.

side note (not related to your issue): you should upgrade from cpg1.4.2 to the most recent stable cpg1.4.3
