Works fine except bridge manager thinks I'm not admin
« on: January 25, 2006, 01:32:40 am »

I have integrated my forum (punbb) with coppermine and it works fine.  That is, until I decided that I wanted to bring over the groups from my forum into coppermine, which I didn't do when I first set up the bridge.

Now when I go to the bridge manager it tells me that I must be logged in as an admin and asks for username and password as an emergency to shut off bridging.  Yet, I am logged in as an admin and have all the admin functions working just fine.

I tried deleting all cookies and relogging in, but that didn't help.

Login using the original coppermine admin account you created during installation and then re-engage the bridge with your new settings.

When you say to login using the original coppermine admin account, do you mean to enter that on that emergency bridge page to remove the bridging?   Then after doing that redo the bridging?

Will current user albums be lost?  (there is only one so that isn't a big deal, but I'd like to know)

Nothing will be lost. The bridge manager is designed to authenticate you based on the original admin details - that way you can always use it, even if there is a problem with the bridge.
