Certain settings won't stick...
« on: January 18, 2006, 12:13:53 am »

I am trying to setup my Coppermine to my desires, but certain of the settings simply won't stay the way I set them.
After clicking "Save new configuraion", some of the settings simply goes back to what they where before, while others do change.

What am I doing wrong?

what settings stay the same? Is there a pattern?
Upgrade to the most recent stable cpg1.4.3, this may fix your issues.

There are no clear pattern.

An example: I was using the Igames theme, then I tried to change it to Project vii. After saving the new config, my theme didn't change, but under settings it says Im using the new theme.

Will try and install 1.4.3 and hope for the best.

For that theme thing, you need to clear your cookies.

It sounds like you need to play with your web browser's cache & cookie settings.  Next time, pass the cupcakes around.
