bbcoded URL in Category Description

When I use bbcode to add an URL in the Category Description the link don't open a new window but leaves my Coppermine Gallery and enter the new site.

Is it possible to make the link open a new window?

I just thougt that it was standart that the bbcode text should open a new browser window.
Since I cannot define any target="_blank" nor any rel="external" in a bbcode I guess people have to "shift"+click the links.
I'm new to Coppermine so I'll wait e few months before I start mingeling with the code.
